Alien invasion.
It was a hot, summer day in Karachi. Everybody was up and about their business. Nobody knew what was going to happen later that day. Between 12:00 noon and 2:00pm, the sky became cloudy but no one took notice except a few people. By half past three, the sky got darker and people thought it was going to rain. Instead at exactly 4:00 pm, a eerie blood chilling sound filled the sky. Every one jumped and looked here and there. The noise started getting louder. As the source of the noise came closer, people turned their heads towards the direction where the noise was coming from. They couldn’t see anything as it was too dark and electricity had gone off.
The people ran in the direction that the noise was coming from. The noise led them to Seaview Avenue. Over there, they saw a big, saucer shaped object coming from the sky and landing on the ground. For a few minutes which seemed like hours, nobody uttered a single word. All the people were staring at the spaceship, terrified.
After a while, the door of the spaceship opened and a blinding light came from it. Out of the light emerged a pair of legs, and slowly its body materialized in front of everyone. Screams rang out in the dark sky. The thing which actually was an alien then said something in its native language. As he spoke, other aliens stepped outside the spaceship one by one and stood behind their chief.
The chief started speaking in English. He said “Greetings Earthlings! we have come to take some human beings as hostages for our experiments”. Again everyone screamed. The alien said “We will not harm you in any way. When we are through with the experiments, we will send you back to earth”. The chief aliens said something in their language and the other aliens enter the crowd of people and started taking hostages to their ship. When all the hostages had been takes, the chief said, “we will return the hostages back to earth as promised, when we are done with the experiments. He too went inside the spaceship and the spaceship flew away. Everyone was really scared now. Time went on and everyone wondered what became of the hostages, and will the aliens return them back? After five hours a familiar, eerie sound filled the sky. People started shouting and jumping in joy. The spaceship landed at the same spot as before. The same blinding light came out. The chief alien came out and so did other aliens who were holding the hostages. The aliens and the hostages stopped ten meters from the crowd. The chief said, “Greetings Earthlings! We have come to return the hostages as we had promised”.
Then he spoke in his language, telling his fellow aliens to let the hostages go. They were released and everyone was happy. Then chief alien said “Thank you, you for your cooperation Earthlings, goodbye! And climbed in his spaceship with his fellow aliens and went away. As soon as the spaceship disappears in the dark sky, the city lights came on again.
