1:07 p.m. - 2003-04-30 Yesterday morning I woke up at 9:30am and my mom my bro and my aunt were sitting on the table and then my brother told that I am giving you an assignment for this week that you are suppose to find some websites for kidz with fun activities and from where you could learn some good stuff. So after my breakfast I went to his room and he opened a website of Dawn newspaper and in that section Azfar bhai opened a page of kidz Young world and there were a lot of stories and Azfar bhai told me to read all the stories and there were about 8 stories and I didn’t want to read the stories but I had to read them because if I would have said “no I am not going read them” then I don’t know what he would do. Well I had to read it so the first story was about “Life with a brother”. It was that about a girl who had a little bro and she sometimes yell at him sometimes she cares about him and sometimes she doesn’t like what he does. So the next story was about “Dreams do come true” its about a girl name Sara who wants to be a pop star and she daydreams that she is going to be a pop star and when she tells to any of there family members none of them believe her and she took part in a lot of competitions and she won a prize and she became a very hit pop star. The next story was “How does a telephone works” that in 1876 a Scotsman guy name Alexander Graham Bell invented the telephone and is still called telephone. And it was written that he used a diaphragm for the mouth piece. The next story was “Aliens” and the guy who was writing the story he was a Alien and they go in the space and explore the unexplored planet that they saw a space shuttle going to. And when they explored that planet the name of that planet was Earth and when they landed on the earth the place they landed on was Moscow, Russia in north Asia and they checked technology of every country in two hours. That is really weird because the time taken in the travel from England to America is 7 hours how could they check the technology of all the countries in the world. That’s rubbish. Well the next story is The little ninjas and that is a good story. A thirty year old mother name Amna and she had four kidz two girls two boys and the weird thing is that all of them were born by 2 years the 2 girls Sara (4) Hadia (6) and the two boys Raza (8) and Haroon (10). One day there mom had to go shopping with Saima and there was a knock on the door Amna thought it was Saima but as she opened the door it was a guy in black suite and he took his dragger out and told Amna to go inside. And then again there was a knock and the thief told Amna to open the door but not tell that a thief is there and as she opened the door and it was Saima and she tried to give some directions to Saima that there is a thief in the house but she couldn’t understand and the thief came and pointed the dragger at Saima and told her to come inside and the kidz were moving around the house an the thief didn’t care about the children. So the kidz made plan and since Haroon was the biggest he go the idea and asked Raza to get some flour told Hadia to get some pepper and a hair dryer and told Sara to get some rope. And then Hadia told the thief that the money is up stairs and when the thief went up stairs they captured him and untie Amna and Saima first and tie thief’s legs and hand with that rope. After the little Ninjas is the story about Allama Iqbal but I didn’t read that because I am not interested in poetry and after that is About Korea is . Official name: People's Democratic Republic of Korea. Area: 120,538 sq km Population: 23,348,000 Capital: Pyongyang Currency: Won Language: Korean Major cities: Hamhung, Chongjin, Nampo, Wonsan, Sinuiji Independence day: September 9, 1948 Major exports: Base metals, textiles, vegetable products, machinery and equipment. North Korea is situated in East Asia, with Russia towards the Northeast, China towards the north and northwest. The Sea of Japan is in the east, whereas South Korea is in the South. The Yellow Sea is found in the west. Physical features. Being an extremely mountainous country, North Korea has deep, narrow valleys. The most prominent mountain range is the Nangnim Range, in the north central region. Mount Paketu is Korea's highest mountain, rising to 9,003 feet. Lowland plains comprise only about one-fifth of the total area and are largely confined to the country's west coast and to the broad river valleys of the west. Nearly all the major rivers rise in the mountains and flow west to the Yellow Sea. The longest river, the Yalu, forms part of the border with China. Climate. A continental climate usually prevails here, with hot summers and cold winters. The average July temperature at Pyongyang is 24°C. Winter temperatures at Wonsan in the south average 4°C but are considerably lower in the north. Annual rainfall in most parts of the country is about 1,000mm, usually occurring in the summer months. And today’s brother’s code is “There isn’t any other relationship quite like that of siblings-the memories and the affection run deep beneath all the lovers”. This is all for today. Byee.
